Summary:

This month is Fall Prevention Month! Lindsay will share information on Ontario’s first Fall Prevention Month and the Fall Prevention Community of Practice.

Susan will present an overview on how the underlying disease process in dementia, specifically Alzheimer’s disease, impacts fall risk. She will then provide a summary of prevention studies that have been successful in preventing falls in people with dementia to support knowledge translation into clinical practice.
